Hi, I’m Revathi, the person behind Kannaya’s Recipes Blog, and a passionate home cook. I believe in making delicious meals with simple, everyday ingredients. I started this blog to share my recipes related to Indian Cuisine which helps people new to cooking.

My love for cooking began when my first child began to eat, where I spent hours making the food tasty and healthy because I didn’t know how to cook before my marriage, after marriage, I started learning to cook. Things were not that easy in the beginning, I came across many kitchen mishaps. But gradually getting experience in cooking I started making dishes which shaped me into a good cook. Those experiences taught me that healthy food is necessary to be fit.

This blog offers simple Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian recipes, beginner-friendly with everyday ingredients, and mostly masala-free recipes.
