Cut gobi/cauliflower into bite-sized florets, wash them, and keep them aside. Remove the onion peel, cut the ends, and wash onions, tomatoes, green chili, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Chop onions, tomatoes, slit the green chili, remove the leaves from sprig, and chop the coriander leaves. Keep them ready to make a gobi curry recipe/ cauliflower curry recipe.

  • Heat the oil in a pan, and add cumin and mustard seeds to it. Let them splutter and keep the flame on a sim.
  • Add green chili and curry leaves to the pan and saute for 30 seconds.

  1. Cut the cauliflower/gobi into bite-sized florets the day before, while cutting check for worms in the vegetable and remove it. Keep them ready for making the recipe, when you are cooking. It will be easy to cook without stress or save time if you are a working woman or busy with kids.
  2. Maintain a distance from the pan when seeds are popping out.
  3. If you don’t have ginger-garlic paste, add chopped garlic too.
